About a month ago, I have started having issues with my default apps. When returning to home via the navigation bar, a popup appeared prompting me to select the home app between OneUI Home and Nova Launcher. Since I've set Nova as the default 2 years ago when I got the phone and have had no issues with it, I selected it and clicked "Always". A few hours later the prompt appeared again, and I did the same thing as the first time, and this would not be the last time that this popup appeared. I went to Settings to check my default apps, only to find that most options are greyed out, as seen on the screenshot(ignore that home is set to OneUI Home, more on that later, just imagine that it says Nova Launcher).
Clicking on "Home app" gives the following popup:
This is strange because I have no device admin apps active aside from secure folder, and I'm not signed into any work accounts either.
Today, when I accidentally clicked "OneUI Home" on the prompt when returning home, I could only open nova explicitly, from the app drawer, and the home setting seems to have itched itself into default apps.
Now I cannot change default apps, which is really frustrating, since Samsung's built-in home app is not to my liking.
Is there any way to fix this issue without factory-resetting the phone? I would not mind using ADB if there was no other option.

I have only now realized that the default browser app has been changed, previously it was set to Firefox.
