The following message pops up from time to time but there is no software update. What's wrong?

That's strange, @TCTY, and it should be easily resolved. I had a look into this error message, and there are some workarounds suggested by our friends at the Samsung US Community in the thread below:

I'm using a Galaxy tab A7 lite and just started getting the same message about a serious software error. I followed your link to the Samsung community but the link is now archived and unavailable. Is there a current fix? An updated link?
Any help is appreciated.
