I've seen a few posts about charging issues since the latest software update.

I've just come back from seeing my parents, one has A34 the other A35; I bought them the below Anker 25w charger which has been working fine until this recent update - but now the A34 will not recognise this charger at all - A35 is fine.

My s25u works fine with this charger, but my son's A34 also doesn't work with it, my other son's A35 does!

This certainly points to a software issue to me, tried the usual clear cache and restart but this didn't resolve.

Anyone else with similar issues?

Wonder if it works ok with a Samsung charger 🤔
Wonder if turning off fast charging might help
Seem to remember in the depths of my mind something about a software issue with fast charging.
Can't quite remember now. But just a thought

Same issue: with One UI 8.0 a laptop charger cannot charge my phone at all, not even slow charging. Used to be fine before the upgrade

Why aren't you  using a samsung charger?

If a samsung charger wont work i could understand you asking samsung to do something.

It would be impossible for samsung to test using every manufacrurers chargers.

Nor to test theur phones with all the dufferent apps iut there.

It is thise manufacturers who have the responsibility of saying if their products will work with samsung. If they then don't  you can complain.

If the chargers are still under warranty,  then return them for replacement

Own, A16 phone and Tab A9 tablet.

I use a Galaxy A35 and a Galaxy Tab A9+. Both of them charge more slowly compared to other brands. It was like this when I bought them, and I thought a software update might fix it, but nothing has changed. I don’t understand why some people insist that we need to buy Samsung chargers. In the past, tablets and phones used to come with chargers included, but now they sell them separately under the false excuse of “thinking about the environment.” If chargers from other brands don’t work properly, then why are they even produced? People’s obsession with brands only harms us. A Belkin charger exploded while charging my phone and tripped the circuit breaker in my house. I tried an Anker charger, but since it charged slowly, I returned it. Right now, I’m using an Spigen ArcStation Pro GaN 452 charger, but this one also charges slowly.
