Samsung A5 2017 no OEM unlock

Hello, I've recently reset my phone to its original firmware and after waiting 7 days (170 hours of uptime), the OEM unlock option has still not appeared in developer options and download mode still has the rmm state prenormal message.

According to this post on XDA Forums, it seems that the  server Samsung uses to verify RMM is now down. A lot of users seem to experience the same issue, some even waiting a month. Is there a way to remedy this? Thanks

Nooooo *****! Someone needs to fix this, or ask Samsung to re-enable that service for at least a few more years until most apps on Play Store require android 9+ (maybe until 2025).
