The sim that came with the phone will likely be a blank sim card.
There will be no account or mobile number associated with it.
The Blank Sim Card is sometimes sent if you want to use a sim swap to replace your current one or your new phone won't accept your current sim card size.
o2 device-and-sim-support/activating-your-sim and Sim Swap.
If your current sim card will fit in the new phone then just use your old sim card.
