Lost old phone and it wasn't backed up. What can I do to retrieve my data?

I have manged to log in to the same samsung and Google account that was on the lost phone but I can't seem to get back any of my pictures or videos?

If not backed up there is no chance of recovery

@kuba110: Pictures and videos are no longer backed up to Samsung Cloud, however they should have been automatically backed up to your Google account, provided you didn't disable this feature on your previous device. 

With this in mind, please swipe up from your Home screen, tap on the Google folder, then select 'Photos' (Wi-Fi connection required). Hopefully you will find an archive of your images and videos here.
