Galaxy A50, not connecting to PC

I have tried all the tricks on the Web and cannot get my Galaxy A50 to connect to my PC. It will only charge, so I cannot transfer any of my pictures. Can anyone help?

@RebelNev hello, to be recognized the samsung device, you must install the most current Samsung Android USB drivers. Download and install them from the official page here:

@RebelNev: Have you tried downloading Smart Switch for your PC?

Once installed, open Smart Switch, connect your Galaxy A50 using the USB cable that came packaged with the phone, and select the Backup tab to backup all the data on your device, including your pictures. 

You can also head to Google Photos, and sign in using the Google account details that are registered to your A50, as an archive of your photos and videos should be visible here.

Thank you, but even with smart switch it's not working, it just won't recognise at all.

Nope, tried this one too and no go. The strange thing is my wife has the A52S and this connects flawlessly. Have no idea what to do. I might have to consider the Google route but I will need to upload 14g of pictures, so might take a bit of time.
