Samsung galaxy A12

I purchased my samsung galaxy A12 mobile phone in may 2021 and the 4 years of updates is going to end on 12th may 2025 but my phone has not updated since 4th November 2024, so it's over 6 months since the last software update, please could someone tell me whether I should receive another software update before the 12th may 2025 ?

From a little research, you're not behind on updates. There just haven't been any updates since November/December. That phone got updates 4 times per year for a while then moved to 2 updates per year.

So the last update was the 4th of november for you. Your phone gets updates every 6 months. You might get 1 last update this month.

Higher end phones get updates each month. With the age and price of the a12, it's 1 update every 6 months




Update: the link James sent shows support has been ended. So I was wrong in suggesting there might be 1 last update
