Galaxy A34 5G keeps disconnecting from wifi after waking

I use my A34 almost exclusively at home because I'm housebound with illness, and connect to the internet via wifi. The phone is great except for one big problem: about half the time after I wake the phone, it will disconnect from the wifi and start using mobile data instead. I have to keep turning off wifi and switching it on again to make it reconnect.

I have tried multiple solutions. I've reset my router. I've made my phone forget the wifi network and reconnect to it. I've selected static IP. None of this works. It's very frustrating and I'm thinking of returning it unless I can solve this problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Has anyone with this problem had it fixed by the latest update?

Hi.  I just got A34 5g phone too and I'm experiencing the same issue.  The phone keeps disconnecting from wifi and says it will connect once it finds strong connection.  This is so annoying.  Was previously using another samsung and I never experience this.  

Please share if there are any responses on how to handle this coz I'm also thinking of selling this device.

Same complaint with a brand new A34 5G and I did some speed tests with various Samsung phones in the same spot were it disconnects from the Wi-Fi. Other Samsung models were fine. I did some network speed tests as you can see in this image. The download speed is terrible 

Samsung A34 5G Download Speed 1.44 Mbps
Samsung S8 Download Speed 11.4 Mbps
Samsung A72 Download Speed 11.2 Mbps
Samsung S23 Ultra Download Speed 11.6 Mbps 

 I have done all the suggested settings changes and resets and reboots and it does not improve.

I'm still having the same issue, surely this phone has the same WiFi chipset as other models but I've never seen anything online to suggest other models having WiFi disconnect issues

Thanks for doing the testing. I wonder if it's a hardware issue affecting the strength of the wifi connection. I'm interested to see if Android 14 fixes it.

So tech couldn't help you in the end, huh? That's a shame. I assume the handset is still under manufacturer's warranty,  you should be able to get a replacement or refund.

Tech just sending me round in circles, could easily return to supplier under uk trading standards

Tried resetting mobile network settings and turned off intelligent Wi-fi setting switch to better networks

I've tried everything I've found on here and nothing works, sent Samsung techs several error reports still no answer.

I contacted Samsung again and they suggested booking it in for a repair. I tried product trouble shooting and repairs and that asked for a master reset but reluctant to do that when phone still within warranty
