Hello,
I've been facing issues with my Samsung galaxy A54 lately. My cell signal keeps disconnecting itself, and my sim cards stop recognizing the network. When I try to call somebody, it shows a prompt saying "Not registered in the network". I've tried changing the sim slots, the sim cards, but to no avail (the same sim cards work on other phones, so the area coverage/operator issues are ruled out). Sometimes I get the signal, when I turn airplane mode on and then off, but the connection lasts 2-3 minutes at max. Sometimes the connection reestablishes and it functions for half an hour, then the phone turns into a brick again. No similar issues arise with wifi or bluetooth. This issue started happening after upgrading my phone to android 17 and the last version of OneUI. I also was faced once during the same period with a "phone overheating, disconnected from charger" prompt when I was charging my phone while it was in my pocket. Can't rule out if it's hardware or software issues at this point. Tried running the *#0011# command on my phone several times, ChatGPT ruled that it was a signal issue, as my phone couldn't connect to the cell towers.
What's the diagnostic procedure to adhere to from this point on? I guess repairing the antennae wouldn't be worth it as this point, as from a financial perspective it would be better to buy a new phone. Thanks for any help!

Hi,
I used different sim-cards of different providers, but it didn't change the situation.
Thank you for your reply.

Hi, I have a similar issue on my new A56 since yesterday, both my SIMs randomly stopped working, I have tried all usual troobleshootings (restart phone, reinset sims, reset mobile network settings, etc.), and managed to make the 5g and SMS working on one of my SIMs, but calls are still not working from this SIM (my phone shows 'Emergency calls only', and when I try to call my phone from another phone it says 'This number is currently unavailable'). Olso, nothing works with my second SIM.

This sounds like a firmware issue on Samsung's end. It's been almost a month for me a no hot fixes have been implemented yet. This is a serious issue that should be addressed, as the phone loses it's purpose without cell service.

I have exactly the same problem right after the update to Android 15 One UI 7.0
Does anyone have a solution?
Will the factory reset sokve the problem?
Please assist!! I cannot work without mobile data. This problem is ridiculous for such a big company like Samsung.
