In this app, go to the support section and run diagnostics.

For things that might sort it, settings, general, reset. Reset mobile network and reset wifi might help. Just be aware you'd need to enter wifi info again and pair Bluetooth devices again.

You can also try and clear the cache partition of your phone but that's a bit more complicated than trying a reset of networking settings

I understand, I'm just trying to suggest things you can try. If the update itself caused it, you can't undo updates. So there's nothing I can say that would fix a bad update.

If the update is the issue, you can use a pc to update your phone when the next update comes out. It sends the update over usb so network issues wouldn't stop updating to the fix

I'm not currently available to confirm right now but, would recovery through SmartSwitch do the trick; (Reinstalling OS, overwriting partitions), instead of factory reset through Android Recovery?(Format Data)

I hear its pretty much a user friendly 'Odin', which; I just use Odin myself.

I wouldn't try it first but it's an option. Since I'm just an average person, I don't know 100% fixes for an issue like this. I can just suggest things that have worked in the past or might work.

Yes smart switch nuking the device might sort it. But then you lose your data. I'd always try the easier more simple fixes, then gradually do the more advanced or destructive ones. Smart switch would be the last thing to try as it's probably the most intense thing you can do while keeping warranty.

If the issue is truly the update, smart switch would just install the update again. Meaning the true fix would be waiting for the next update and hoping that fixes it.

Considering there's not a flood of people with the same issue. I'm kinda thinking it's not the update that's broken, but something else that's specific to their device.

Things get complicated when I basically have a toolbox of suggestions and possible fixes where any one of them could work. But no one knows which one. We just keep trying till something works

I wouldn't try it first either, as I do appreciate keeping things intact, but as a guy who messes with custom firmware, I do see this happen often with OTA's(Not necessarily Over the air, just an update of sorts without a clean flash) and infrequently, stock firmware.

I appreciate your take; it's always easiest to recommend the most destructive, I do fear this may be one of them.

If Ghimire could show us the issues visually, that would be grand.
