Has anyone had any issues with their Fingerprint recognition since the last update at the start of July 2025?

Hi! Welcome to the Samsung Members community!

No. May be worth making sure touch sensitivity is turned on and deleting current fingerprints and registering them again. Tip: Set multiple prints for the same finger; it seems to make it more efficient.

I've enabled the touch sensitivity but still no joy. My phone is the A55.

Delete fingerprint- soft reboot device (hold volume down and power until phone restarts)- re add fingerprint *add a few of the same.

*make sure screen protector isnt the issue - if youve added a new one recently
*make sure screen is clean

Having the same problem with samsung a16 5g. I've carried out all the above suggestions and more, but it's still a pain 😢. Have Samsung gone to small My old samsung a21s that had its fingerprint sensor on the back.

I've had rhe screen changed but all other functions like swipe and pattern work fine. Think its got something to do with the latest update.
