@CodyH: Putting unused apps to sleep can be a good way to keep your device running smoothly, and reduce your overall battery consumption. For peace of mind, if you head to Settings > Battery and Device Care > Battery > Background Usage Limits > Put Unused Apps To Sleep > On, this may delay updates and notifications for the sleeping apps, but won't prevent them completely. If you manually place apps into the Deep Sleeping Apps section, they will only work when you open them. It's up to you really, but keep in mind that this will only affect apps that you don't use, so shouldn't have too much of a negative impact on your user experience.

Hi @CodyH
I use the Sleep and Deep Sleep feature for apps I want more control over.
It works quite well for me and can be a good way of using less resource on the phone thus saving on a little bit of battery.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
