A34 phone
Can you advise why my phone is taking an age to charge? This issue has arose since your android 15 update which I installed yesterday - 18/07/25.
Can you advise a solution? At this rate it is going to take around 6 hours to charge.
Very unhappy with Samsung over this.

@Levilfc: Is it possible that the restriction in your charge rate is being caused by your laptop? Is the laptop plugged in, for instance, or in Power Saving Mode?

The Galaxy A34 5G supports Super Fast Charging up to 25W via genuine Samsung plug adapters. If you are finding that the charge rate through your laptop is too slow, then you may wish to consider purchasing a plug adapter to achieve the charge rate you are expecting.

You are asking about the lead and now the laptop, they all charged my phone quickly. Nothing in the laptop or the lead has changed since the android update 2 days ago. I wish to establish why the upgrade has had a negative effect on my phone charge?

@Levilfc: The One UI 7 update does not apply a restriction to the charge rate of your device when connected to a home computer, so this is an isolated issue. Do you have access to another device that you can connect to, or an alternate USB cable, to see if the issue persists? If not, I do recommend purchasing a 25W plug adapter, as this will give you access to Super Fast Charging.

I had the phone plugged into the wall power supply over night and it didn't even charge to 1%. Thats over 8 hours. Funny how all the leads and samsung plugs and adaptors worked without issue until Fri 18th July. Previous methods of charging since Friday have either charged very slow or not at all, no matter how long they've been connected. The only change was the update. Yet it appears that is not the cause. How so?
