This phone just keeps on rebooting when it's left alone and the problem has just come out of nowhere. Could it be a rogue app update that forcing reboots?

Hi,

To rule out any 3rd party apps or customisations that might be causing this, you can try Safe mode

To get to Safe Mode - Long press Power button, long press Power off icon, tap Safe mode icon. (When booted into Safe mode you may need to turn off flight mode as it sometimes enables itself). Monitor your devices behaviour. If the issue is fixed then you know it's one of your 3rd party apps or customisations that were the culprit. It's up to you to determine which one by a process of elimination.

Hello @davedpg

As well as @Robin999 excellent suggestion 👌 you could also try clearing the phone's System Partition Cache Files Section.

> Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }

A last resort is to back up and factory reset.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎
