Any help Facebook notifications have never worked on a34 settings are turned on I have cleared cache taken it out reinstalled it rebooted phone but still nothing

Hi, try this

Settings>Notifications >Advanced settings >Manage notification catagories for each app. Toggle that ON.

Then goto
Settings>Notifications >App notifications. Scroll to Facebook and tap on it. Tap 'Notification catagories' and toggle ON each catagory as appropriate.
To assign a sound to each catagory then just tap on each one again and tap 'Sound'. Choose a sound.

Don't forget to check the notification settings in the Facebook app itself. Ensure the app is up-to-date by checking for updates.

Checked that all push notifications on no updates cleared cache taken app out reinstalled Facebook and it's the same

If you're sure you have all the appropriate notification settings in the phone toggled on and the app has the correct permissions (see screenshot), then it must be a Facebook issue. Reach out to the developers.

Mine is slightly different to yours. I get notifications, but not all the time. TBH, I don't use it as much nowadays so I'm okay with it.
