Notifications

Any help Facebook notifications have never worked on a34 settings are turned on I have cleared cache taken it out reinstalled it rebooted phone but still nothing

In help section fb I read a section on how meta data users the data from old accounts and mergers together when new accounts are made, say like me in my first account I had in the 90s I turned of notifications then a few years later I had to make a new account with the same email ( always had same Gmail account ) so I think fb uses them settings even if a new account is made my notifications haven't worked 4 over 4 years with 3 different phones and using the same fb account does that make any sense

It's impossible for me to make another account as my phone number and email are used as two step authification and are connected with the Facebook account

You can as long as you don't have a email and phone number as two step authentication

I am sure it's something to do with accounts. My daughter has the same phone as me she has only had 1 fb account and all her notifications working I even went through her settings and they were the same as mine and still didn't work for me

You could be right was thinking it was my phone newish mines only one that doesn't get notifications rest of family are fine

Think your right just set new account with same email no phone number and it's working at mo all notifications are coming through but still nothing on old account

Iam so please 😀That's mint 👌 my daughter does NOT have her phone number registered on fb . I've got my account set to deactivate for the 4th or 5th time now says it will be done for the 9th next month but they don't do it and I can't take my number of fb as they say it needs to be registered

Thank you been trying to sort this for over a year now these messages need posting everywhere
