Any help Facebook notifications have never worked on a34 settings are turned on I have cleared cache taken it out reinstalled it rebooted phone but still nothing

Made a new Facebook account with same email no phone number and touch wood everything is working it was a pain informing friend but upto now notifications are back on so it must be something to do with my old account

Touch wood new account still got notifications

I signed in to mine removed my two step authentication and number from account but sill can't make a new account with same email saying they fb need to make sure who I am
. I only see notifications when I open fb and then they show at the top notification bell icon
