Hi,

Since I've updated my phone I've been having problems with my microphone. When I make calls the person on the other end can't hear me. Same issue with video recordings- no sound being recorded. If I reset my phone or restart it 3-5 times the microphone returns to working order for about 2-3 phone calls but then stops again. I've factory reset my phone twice and then when I brought it back to the Vodafone shop I bought it was told to update it again. Which I did. This hasn't helped and I don't know what to do next! HELP!

This microphone problem is just terrible. Its embarassing to say the least, that we have a phone but not able to use to talk.

Hello, if you can, go to a mobile repair specialist and ask her to flash your mobile phone.

I purchased my phone on sep 2019. 

Two months ago I noticed that my microphone is not working sometimes and I tried all most all the methods. Tried to suck if something struck inside the microphone to come out an restarted a d also did the factory reset. Earlier it happened once a day and later I noticed it happens frequently.  Phone is under guaranty period.  Please help me to fix the issue.

I had the same problems, usually its due to deadlock between the apps that are in need to use the microphone simultaneously.

or force stop recently opened apps that may be using the mic.

Still not working microphone 1 and 2 also after connecting head phone  still not working

Is there a solution for this yet?  I have 2 of these phones now, that the mic does not work.. can receive and hear the caller, but caller cannot hear me.  $400 in unusable phones Samsung...

many months later i wonder is the problem still solved? was it really a dust issue? because im having the same problem on a new phone and it not dusty at all

Yes that fixed the phone however just buy a galaxy series the A series are pieces of *****

The same happens to me after updating my mobile phone. 

I am not able to listen to the next person's voice on-call and during record or testing also even through WhatsApp mic is fine.

but on phone calls very low voice. 

Samsung please sort this issue asap
