Why is my Samsung a53 adding +44 to my caller I'd when I make calls within the UK

No. I am just making a normal ok call and my number gas +44 on their phone and can't identify me

it could be to do with ur provider.

My wife has the same phone and provider and doesn't have this problem so I'm not sure

From the phone app>settings>assisted dialling try disabling the setting if it is active to see if it makes any difference.

I can't find anything about assisted dialling anywhere

Are you using the Google or Samsung phone app. The settings attached are from my Google phone app.

Try call settings>other call settings>roaming assistance in the Samsung Phone App and disable then reboot phone to see if it works.
