Since I had it repaired under warranty, I have found that I am having difficulties in getting my Viewfinity S9 monitor to wake up when it has been on standby overnight. I have it connected to an Apple Mac Mini M1, which also has a 24" Samsung monitor as a second screen. This second screen works just fine, but the S9 often gets stuck at the blue screen which tells me to activate my screen by pressing the mouse or keyboard. 8 times out of 10, this does nothing. Occasionally, the screen activates by itself with no problem, but there seems to be no discernible pattern to whether the screen will wake up or not.
Is there some setting I can change on the Viewfinity S9 itself to make the start up process more reliable and predictable?
