Hello everyone,
I'm having a recurring issue with my Samsung Odyssey G9 monitor(49" Odyssey OLED G93SC DQHD 0.03ms(GtG) 240Hz HDR True Black 400 FreeSync Premium Pro Curved Gaming Monitor).
Whenever I stop using my PC and the monitor turns off automatically due to inactivity, I see the message "Screen Optimization Not Complete" when I wake the PC and the monitor turns back on.
I've searched through the settings but haven't been able to find an option to stop this message from appearing. I would like to understand:
I've attached a photo of the message for reference. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Hello Everyone,
Excatly the same problem. I switch off the screen via the power button. And sometimes the screen starts with the message « screen optimisation is not complete » Is there a way to launch it manually ?
kind regards

Well, after several days of searching online and observing when exactly it was happening, I came to the following conclusion:
The screen optimization process is meant to refresh overheated pixels, and it auto-executes once the monitor enters standby mode. This process takes some time to complete — around 15 minutes — so if you turn the monitor back on before it finishes, it shows that message.
For now, I try not to turn it on too soon after it goes into standby. Also, increasing the time it takes to enter standby has helped. So, I assume it’s a protection process, and when it can’t complete properly, that’s when the message appears.
That’s the simplest explanation I can give based on my personal research and experience.

I made the mistake of connecting my monitor to a smart plug strip. When the computer turns off, it kills the power to the monitor. The screen optimization never completes and when the power is back on, I get the "screen optimization is not complete" message. Make sure that your Samsung G6 always has power even when the screen is blank. Also the monitor's microprocessor is running in the background when the powr is off.
