My monitor was automatically updated to version 1661. When I press the home screen button, it gets stuck on the ‘Preparing… Please wait’ screen.
I restarted the software and tried everything, but it still gets stuck at the same screen.
Thank you in advance for your help.

I have the exact same problem since yesterday

I made a support request for the problem through Samsung's My Page, where you can submit request for your registered products. I suggest all of you to do the same, as this is clearly a firmware problem. That should raise awareness in Samsung's direction.

Hi all,
Sharing this from my colleagues at Samsung:
“The current update is bringing a new improved layout to your Home UI to enhance your viewing experience. To complete this update there a lot of background & foreground Apps that need updating which means this update will take a little longer than usual. If you’re experiencing difficulties, then please follow these simple steps & enjoy the freshly updated Home UI.
Disconnect the monitor from the mains, then reconnect & turn the monitor on. Wait at least 10 minutes (Dependent on Network speed to download the updated App packages), when the update is completed please disconnect & reconnect the Mains to ensure the new Home UI is applied correctly.”

Thanks for the additional instructions, but it doesn't help. I still get the same loading error and won't open Smart Hub (stuck on 1%) + can't set the source from HDMI to DP, because when I select the source, it wants to open smart hub.

The same problem. Odyssey g7 ls28bg700eixci. At the first detection, the download moved from 1 percent to 100 - then 12 and reset, then 35 and reset, then, for example, 87 and reset, but once (although I'm not completely sure) it was 100 percent, and then 0 and again... Right now, the download doesn't move beyond 1 percent, it just freezes... Right now, the monitor constantly wants to connect to something using hdmi, even though the xbox is turned off at that moment. Another interesting thing is that I noticed that now when the xbox is connected, the game menu does not work, it simply does not exist. FPS settings and others, in my opinion, flew off, judging by the picture in the games. I also noticed that you can use the built-in browser on the monitor - I have a "www" button on the remote control. Also, if you go to parental control through the settings, you can get to the application selection menu, and from there you can even install and open applications.

I only managed to find this. Unfortunately, they haven't come up with anything useful at the moment. They suggest restarting the update from usb or taking the monitor to a repair center. I also tried updating using usb, but the monitor checks the flash drive and says "no new updates."

I confirm that, unfortunately, this does not help to solve the problem.
