Hi Guys,

I hope everyone is well!

I recently purchased a Galaxy Book 2 (NP750XED-KB2UK) and installed a 512GB SSD from the 256GB SSD that it came with.

Since my purchase of the laptop, the fingerprint reader does not work (Windows Hello option is not there) so I factory reset the machine, that didn't work so I did a clean install of Windows 11.

Is there a way of obtaining the recovery image/software? I've tried to download the Samsung recovery app from the MS store but it comes up with an error message that I do not have the recovery partition on the SSD. This is just to make sure it's not a driver/software issue, although I am sure it isn't.

The original SSD was wiped as I was planning to use it as a secondary drive to store other information.

Can someone advise?

TIA!

This sounds like a hardware issue. I don’t think this will help. Does it work when you revert everything back ? Old ssd with this recovery image ?

Yes, I also considered that it might be a hardware issue, so I replaced my laptop’s touchpad at a local store with a new one, but the same problem persists. I also tried reinstalling the old SSD, but it now has the same touchpad issue. I saw some blogs where Samsung has released some touchpad firmware update , but I haven't received it yet in Samsung Update software. Do you have any idea about it ? The strange part is the touchpad properly works in BIOS but not in Windows. Maybe some driver issue i guess. 😮

Hi guys. I would like to create a factory state disk for my Galaxy Book2 ( NP550XED ), but the option to do it is grayed out. Is it possible to fix it?

I know the thread is bit old, but I need help! I completely formatted my system a while ago and installed my own system without recovery partitions. I still have all the recovery files. Unfortunately, the screenshot of Discpart that I made, specifically to have the names and sizes of the partitions, has disappeared. Does anyone here happen to still have their Book 2 Pro 360 and could provide me with this screenshot?
