I recently purchased the Odyssey OLED G9 G95SC, and I have encountered a significant issue with the MultiView feature. While the PBP (Picture-by-Picture) mode works, the PIP (Picture-in-Picture) mode is entirely missing from the settings.
The official documentation and product descriptions do not clearly state that this model lacks PIP functionality, which is highly misleading. The Samsung product page does not explicitly communicate that certain MultiView features are unavailable, making it seem like the monitor fully supports all advertised MultiView capabilities. This is misleading, and I feel deceived as a customer.
As a developer, I strongly believe that this limitation is purely software-based and could be resolved with a firmware update. Based on my research, many other users are requesting this feature, as it is a crucial aspect of a premium ultrawide monitor. Given the monitor's price and market positioning, it is reasonable to expect full MultiView functionality, including PIP mode.
I kindly request Samsung to address this issue as soon as possible by either providing a firmware update to enable PIP mode and clearly updating the product documentation and website to reflect this limitation. As a customer who invested in this high-end monitor, I find it unacceptable that such an important feature is missing without proper disclosure.
Please let me know how Samsung plans to resolve this matter.
