SAMSUNG Galaxy Book3 360 15.6" 2 in 1 Laptop purchased from Currys and delivered 1 August 2023.
Opened laptop screen at the weekend and turned on to be greeted with a hairline crack all the way from beside the camera downwards (not a straight line). The laptop has not been damaged or dropped.
Discussed with Currys who have pushed me to Samsung and Samsung are pushing ‘product damage’ which is not covered under warranty. I find it absurd that this is happening quite a lot from a quick Google search of ‘galaxy book screen crack’ and product damaged is pushed onto the consumer.
Has anyone had this happen and successfully got the laptop screen repaired by Samsung at no cost to the consumer?

I had the same thing appear on my screen this weekend.
I have a 13.3 Samsung Galaxy book Pro 360. Had it for almost two years. This weekend I noticed a hairline crack appear from the top left of the screen (about three inches in) going all the was down to the bottom left corner.
I used the laptop Friday night which the screen was fine (stayed on my desk (didn't move) and on Saturday morning, I at noticed a fine crack about four inches long at the top of the screen. By the end of the day it was all the way down the screen. Most bizzar thing I've ever seen. I've had two other Samsung laptops (which I still use on occasion) which I had over ten years and the screens never done this. I was shocked when I saw this. Still can't believe it. How do you try to explain this to tech support?

I had and have the same issue on my Galaxy book3 360. Crack one day (1 month or so after purchase) from middle to the right side. Samsung denied repair. Went back and forward and I was even forced to pay for the evaluation. Luckily that was reimbursed afterwards. Cost of repair was quoted to 550 euro at that time. I decided not to repair and I use it as is since then. Probably this will be the last product I buy from them.

I have the exact same screen crack as others are describing (mostly use with external monitor, carry in protective case, don't use touch screen). I thought this would be covered by Samsung plus extended warranty and when I reached out to Samsung customer service,I learned that they did not issue me my Samsung plus coverage. Even though I have proof of paying for it. This is left a very bad taste in my mouth regarding samsung (I have a phone a watch and a book laptop). Customer support is awful, I get passed back and forth, no one takes responsibility, they don't acknowledge my Samsung Plus coverage WHICH I PAYED FOR!!!). Last Samsung product I buy. Get your act together Samsung. F for customer support.

Same problem here as all of you - brand new, 3 months later and a crack all the way down the left side.
I use this as a desktop, it's never left the desk or indeed the house. No reason for it to crack, the laptop has not been dropped, knocked or misplaced.
After reading these reviews i'm not even going to bother cotacting Samsung, or Currys. I'll just live with it and not purchase from Samsung again. A shame really, as the laptop is smart looking (when it functioned...). I never thought I'd be a Mac user, but now I am... Well done Samsung....

I have this same problem with 2 separate Galaxy Book Pro 360 15.6, mine developed the hairline crack within 3 months or so and my partners after 10 months. Currys say they can't fix under warranty so I will be going Consumer Rights Act 2015 route also. Will keep posting on here with results etc.

The same thing happened on January 26, 2024 with my 13.3-inch Galaxy Book3 360. For no reason at all, my laptop screen cracked.
I live in Brazil and here Samsung also did not want to honor the warranty and did not repair the product.
I must contact the Brazilian judiciary so that Samsung has the good sense to fix its own defective device.
I also made an overview of several identical cases that occurred here in Brazil and around the world related to Galaxy Books.

Another cracked screen here. Noticed it tonight. I've only had the laptop back for a week from Samsung after having the tracker pad replaced under warranty. They were very good with that. I'll try them with the screen, but I don't see them fixing it as it looks like it could have had an impact ... it has not had an impact, its either been on a desk or my lap at home and has no impact of any kind.
