SAMSUNG Galaxy Book3 360 15.6" 2 in 1 Laptop purchased from Currys and delivered 1 August 2023.
Opened laptop screen at the weekend and turned on to be greeted with a hairline crack all the way from beside the camera downwards (not a straight line). The laptop has not been damaged or dropped.
Discussed with Currys who have pushed me to Samsung and Samsung are pushing ‘product damage’ which is not covered under warranty. I find it absurd that this is happening quite a lot from a quick Google search of ‘galaxy book screen crack’ and product damaged is pushed onto the consumer.
Has anyone had this happen and successfully got the laptop screen repaired by Samsung at no cost to the consumer?

Same issue. First laptop stopped spontaneously. According to vendor Coolblue cooling problems, wrong batch in production. Laptop replaced, another day of inatalling. First a letter key and spacebar not working off and on. Then 2 spontaneous hairline cracks in the screen. When visiting several fora it appears this cracked screen issue happens quite often. Mystery why Samsung doesn't do a recall and keeps producing this inferior product.

I've just off of the (Samsung!) phone to support and they have no interest in supporting a warranty claim for my cracked screen. They claim that a screen can't crack on it's, but given a change in temperature, it would be possible. The rigid aluminium case and screen will move quickly than the glass of the screen and given the area of the screen is a weakness, a crack could occur.
Hey ho .. £££ to pay out 😞

Hey, I have a post above about this. These situations are all suitable for small claims against the retailer if you are in the UK and technically the retailer has to prove it is not faulty rather than you having to prove it is. However it is advisable to find an expert to support the case (just an it guy of some sort) and the fee for taking the claim is about £140 where I am. I didn't have the energy in the end, a million things to do and this wasnt a priority but I feel a bit ashamed seeing more and more of these posts! Anyhow it would be great to see someone follow through where I didn't and do the claim as I think this is the only way to win here. There is clearly an issue with durability.

The same problem occurred in my Galaxy Book3 360 pro. Crack on the right side of the screen. No more Samsung.

Same happened to me, I bought the Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 in February 2024 in Paris and discovered a hairline crack down the center of the screen after only 1 month ! I didn’t drop, or knock the computer ? The bad news is that it’s not covered by the guarantee ! I think the screen is fragile as it’s not inserted into a protective frame. Very disappointed, regret my purchase.

…they’re saying it’s material damage and that it’s my fault, so I’ve made a video to show my discontent…

Visited Samsung Repair Centre in Rotterdam after tedious appointment experience via the web page. When I arrived they told me bluntly they did not fix laptops in Rotterdam. Went to Leidschendam service centre. respons: Spontaneaous cracks are no warrenty. I was advised to contact via phone Samsung Service Centre, they could discuss this product fault. Did not get passed call centre operator who was not allowed to connect to product specialist to dicuss this issue. Stonewalled. Just look at this site only and you see how often this problem occurs. And on this site: https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Tech-Support/galaxy-book-pro-360/td-p/1637303. Abysmal service and cowardly hiding of product specialists behind poor call centre operator.

Samsung book 4 pro 360, 2 days old and screen broke opening it by lifting screen on right hand side.
Samsung consumer service good and it's being replaced.
Suggest only lifting screen in middle, not left or right.
However does make me wonder whether fit for purpose.

Wauh Lucky you they did replace the screen without making you pray for it !
I am waiting the ombudsman to review my case I am asking for a full refund from Currys/Creation as in my case happened straight away and the store and finance service where i bought are accontable.
I am scare to get a replacement to fix the screen as the design is clearly faulty and sooner or later it could break again
Believe me or not I know how to open a laptop and even opening from the middle did not help in my case!
It is very fragile and doesn't matter how much care you put to not break it
It is mission impossible!
Samsung now probably is worried that so many customers are complaining about it
They should know better!
I hope they replace your screen with a more stable one so you can enjoy the laptop for many years to come ✌🏻
