G7 Monitor Freesync Premium Pro

I purchased the odyssey g7 monitor for my Xbox series x, both which supposedly support freesync premium pro. But when I enable freesync on the monitor, it only says freesync premium, not pro, and as a result hdr does not enable when freesync is active.

Does the monitor support hdr with freesync or is the Xbox at fault for not supporting it? Many thanks

Sorry this is a bit random but I’ve been searching for a similar issue with a Samsung TV that does the same thing. Did you ever resolve this? I’d be fascinated to hear what you found out!
