Can't copy/paste on my Galaxy Book 4 360 Pro

I think my laptop is trying to be smarter than I can handle. When I try to copy text from my laptop and paste to the same laptop, I often get a long pathname rather than the text I selected and copied. But not always!

How can I manage this?

I'm on a Galaxy Book 4 360 Pro.

It seems like you are sometimes selecting a link instead of the actual text. Is there a drop down box allowing you to choose plain text?

I'm copying from Logos (it's a library system that lets me select plain text and press a Copy button) to MS Word.

I only see the Copy button. I wish I had a menu.

What format are the logos in?

It's software to display texts--books. Bibles, textbooks, etc. When I was hitting the Copy key, I think I was getting plain text. That's what happened with my previous laptop (a Surface Laptop 3).
