For people that has scanlines on their G7/G9/Neo G9 and having difficulties to reach basic Samsung monitor support in their country, I was able to reach the Samsung HQ and got their answer: "Scanlines are because of the limitations of the screen". While Samsung HQ admitted it , there was some confusion with my support saying that some people may say that it is all the monitors that has this problem but my support said it is not all :
" when you search the internet for an problem about an product it will always look like it is an major issue and that every product has that issue. This is an distorted view. The reason this view is distorted is because we can see the full picture.Let 's take this case for example. You have scanlines on your monitor. Of course you think "Wait is this normal?"The next thing you do is you do an google search and here you find an 1000 post about people with the same problem.Of course all alarm bels will go of and you will think that every monitor has the same problem.how ever what you can not see is the amount of monitors that have been sold world wide and do not have that issue. If there were sold 1 million devices and of those 1 million 1.000 have an problem. it is still an amazing product. but the 999.000 people who have an great monitor with out issues.will not post about it. "
They ask me if I could give them the monitor to inspect that on their side and give a replacement but I refused because I don't know if it will be the same [also what is the point if Samsung HQ admitted it's due to limits of the screen]...
Later after I ended discussion with my support, Neo G9 got released : HDR issues, scanlines [again problems appear whenever they release a monitor] -> this proof that the example of situation that my support explained to me was totally wrong.
I have scanlines for these images, but maybe it will be different for you:

(Scanlines are more visible when refresh rate is at max (240 Hz))
Recently, I noticed that people are having scanlines issue with some colors (such as blue, orange, purple) but not on the entire screen anymore, maybe Samsung did their best to fix the issue as they said it was due to the limitations of the screen.
------Pixel inversion issue on most of Odyssey G7 32" :on pixel inversion tests paterns like lagom.nl : there are some spots (green/blue/red/white) where pixels are flikering. When moving the test pattern (moving the window), these spots do not change place. They only change place when modyfing settings of the monitor [sharpness/contrast/color/black equalizer] or color of image like Night Light on Windows.Video:https://youtu.be/gzj_U5jrOfghttps://youtu.be/nEQL8BDCJlchttps://youtu.be/n2yJyP9r35QI know that nobody would watch test pattern in their daily use of that monitor, but now that websites started to add dark mode , I started to notice pixels flikering on lines (reddit post/ youtube/google search bar or in LoL)Scanlines i can forget since it only appear on specific image but seeing pixels flikering on my daily usage....Image where pixels are flickering:https://i.rtings.com/assets/pages/mXrNo92Z/flicker-test-large.jpg http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/inversion.php#invpattern (in some test patterns you can switch with the arrows on top left)https://s1.1zoom.me/b5050/718/Chery_Jetour_X70_Coupe_2020_Red_Metallic_Front_606878_2560x1440.jpg
Update: new batches of Odyssey G7 32" use the updated panel in most cases

To give you my 2 cents with my 32" G7. The first 3 pictures in the test gives scanlines over the whole screen for me, the other pictures are fine and its just scanlines on the pictures themselves. I dont get any flickering whatsoever on any of the pictures.
Using a DP 1.4 connection and i get scanlines on 240hz 144hz 120hz...i only dont get scanlines at 60hz.

Ok, so it isn't as bad as the video's but i do get flickering when scrolling, but only if i use smooth scrolling and turn of eye strain mode and put on a brighter preset, i remember having flickering issues on a manga site now but found out taking off smooth scrolling on firefox fixed it, it also fixes that site you sent to test flickering.
1. Nope
2. DP.

@Shashu Well that's fine for scrolling, I only wanted to know if you see something weird in one of these 11 test parterns without moving the patern but since you said "Nope" for question 1, you don't have problem with pixel inversion but maybe your friend have (or not)
Thank you for the answer

No worries, and i did give that last picture u sent me to try (No:2 thing) to my friend and yes he does have that issue, mostly due to fact he has yet to update his monitor driver, he has the old default from when he bought it a year ago. He never had much issue with flickering so he didn't update while at the same time he has no issues with scanlines.
So 1009.3+ may fix flicker but does cause scanlines, or make it show more.

1009.3 firmware : fix flickering of the screen by enabling VRR in Settings of monitor
As for the pixels that are flickering (on lagom or the image rtings) (so not the screen flickering) , I still have that even on last firmware.
And for the scanlines, well we can't fix since they said it is due to the limits of the screen (even Neo G9 has scanlines).
If you really don't want to see the scanlines, you can just scale the display above 100% (which deform the image).
18-01-2022 07:12 PM
Tried doing the scale thing... doesn't fix it, no matter what scale or resolution i do.
18-01-2022 09:07 PM
If you meant scanlines on solid colors, there's no fix

Yea solid colours like yellow and orange, and blue without eye strain mode. I knew there isn't a fix as i seen many post ppl trying to get it fixed and even got new ones to only get the same thing.
I'm still going to try sending it to fix even though it's pointless and hope to get it exchanged which may also be pointless but who knows.
Otherwise am just going to get it refunded because it's doing my head in.... well my eyes in.

I've got neo G9 a week ago, never notice the scanline until now, haha
I've tried all pictures op post, I can see very noticeable scanline in these 3 but other links are totally fine, I guess panels are different?

"due to limits of the screen" , that's what they said.
What I see for Gaming Monitor Products at Samsung are:
- Selling expensive products while using cheap material but that can show "premium specs (they sell at very high price while there are limits of the screen)
- still doing low control quality with gaming monitors (for profit) (screen issue, firmware issue)
- fake advertising like "HDR" (to catch people's attention) [and using "*" next to specs to hide informartion at bottom of page] , sponsor Big youtubers (same reason)
- Samsung only reacts ( and take big decisions) when topics about an issue is spreading on Internet like in the news/big youtubers' videos
- Having bad support monitor in each country (mostly) that answer VERY VERY LATE (2 weeks - 6 months) and when they give an answer (like "it's not an issue, call administator of this website if it's only on this page/ some specific image"), this answer breaks customer's mind making them abandon to ask support to Samsung.
Again, on this video https://youtu.be/EJF0KIMMtPE?t=415 that is an interview with the team that created the Neo G9
The product planner said "I have been looking at gaming communities since the release of the product, and I feel users have higher expectations on the product than in the past" while in the reviews after they released the Neo g9 -> HDR issue, scanlines
These proof that they don't care about gamers: they catch gamers by saying top gaming monitor 2000 nits high quality product -> with that "specs" they can put as a result at high price (because it is "premium"). They will use a part of the profit for advertising to catch more gamer's attention and again PROFIT in a loop and not using it for upgrading the low control quality because they will loose money (+ because people don't notice the hidden issues, they will give 5 stars -> the image of the products will be SUPER GOOD)
Here's another proof how samsung reacts (and they didn't even take note for that mistake): before 2017 control quality was not good for smartphones (they want profit) -> they did a big mistake : Battery explosion with Galaxy Note 7. The news about this issue spread worldwide and it was at that moment that Samsung took big decisions (recall, announcement) (scared to loose money).
Their first logo of Samsung was three stars (showing they do high quality products) then abandons the stars, but the oval shape would represent the galaxy, in reference to its consumer electronics brand Samsung Galaxy, and the fact that the "S" and "G" exceeds the border would mean that the brand wants to push the boundaries of technology. Now it's a simple logo Samsung (it looks like they saved money by creating this logo (and when I say "save money", i mean they only use black and white color [Smartphone are good [white] while monitors are bad [black]).
And now, Samsung follow like apple by removing charger (before they released the s21, they made fun of them, by saying they will have a charger in their box, but at the end they did like apple : saying the reason "Samsung GREEN !" . Making fun of apple, then doing like apple:
Then I can link to this sentence : "Every masterpiece (Apple) has its cheap copy (Samsung)"
Even more, the G7 "premium" monitors that was manufactured recently now has a logo printed on the plastic instead having a logo that is shiny (just for 7 shiny letters , they replaced with printed laser Logo Samsung!)
Samsung use all the times :"evolves" (indeed true for their smartphones) but it's the inverse for monitors : it degrades.
It seems that they take importance and invest research in fonction with a list of priority:
1. Memory (SSD, RAM, ), processor, etc.
2. Smartphones and others products that are linked to them
3. TV's and products linked to them , robots, household appliances
4. Monitor
5. Laptop
