I just got this monitor on sale and the panel is gorgeous.... BUT
This menu system... I cannot get this monitor to do ANYTHING without it fighting me every step of the way. The number of times I have run into "The feature is unavailable" without any form of redirection whatsoever is absolutely ungodly. For example if you have "game mode" on and try and change certain settings, they all redirect you to a different place, none of which actually provide an answer on how to change the setting itself. It took sifting Through other menus to find the actual setting that resulted in game mode being disabled and it was disabling "variable refresh rate" that actually did it. I am now trying to enable HDR with my M4 MacBook Pro, I had it set up in game mode, with HDR on and the colour profile that I wanted set up (this required: Turning game mode off -> enabling HDR in Mac settings (because Samsung BLOCKS ACCESS TO HDR SETTINGS) -> Changing back to game mode -> Then actually editing my colour profiles). I turned game mode off to check the standard mode, I switched back to Game Mode, it preserved my colour profile but completely locked me out of HDR... HDR is no longer even appearing in Mac settings and the OSD is showing "HDR off" and there is no way to re enable it... Samsung you made probably the best panel on the planet and you absolutely butchered it with this OS, I just want this screen to work 😞
