Virtual setting on q90r soundbar

hi all,

Can anyone tell me what exactly the virtual setting on the q90r soundbar does? I cant tell the difference with it on or off?

Yeah, it does seem to be completely useless. I've activated it to see what happens and I get random very brief Atmos type lifts to the volume on speech. Scary!

Best avoided.
