Q990D bricking issue after update

Hey guys!
Today is a great day! 


My Q990D has been repaired and is now home. 


 From initial contact with a Samsung chat tech on the day it 'bricked' it has taken 4 weeks to be collected, repaired and delivered back to me, which to be fair isn't too bad considering that the issue was huge and their tech centre staff didn't even realise that there was a problem but raised it up the chain nonetheless for me.
 So having just finished setting the soundbar up I've noticed a few "upgrades" (I think) it has a choice of different voices, Game mode is now Game Pro, Spacefit fit, Spacefit Pro. You can use Google Cast, not sure if it had that already (?) as it just popped up when I was adding it back to Smart things 🤷🏻. It will mute when you receive a call, again I'm not sure if it had that capability before but it's a really handy feature, access it in phone settings. So as I mentioned 
 today is a great day! Even though it was reset to factory default it "remembered" my speakers and sub and the connection was seamless. 


*Note..... I have toggled 'auto updates' to off and I have not connected it via the WiFi route just a decent HDMI cable.

@ApocalypseRogue7122  certainly that is very positive news and looking good :smiling-face:  In the scheme of things that is a pretty good result.  of course experiences will vary.

Yes you're right James unfortunately some people are having problems particularly with the collect or ship, some say ship, whilst others are being collected, as in my case. There is also the issue with getting the part. As I said I've done alright really 👍🏻
