I have a HW-Q990C soundbar connected with a QN65S95C TV and I'm unable to get Q Symphony working correctly. Q Symphony will only set up via WiFi, not via eARC, even though the soundbar is connected with eARC. The TV will not recognize the soundbar connected with HDMI eARC, it only recognizes the soundbar when connected to WiFi. Audio quality is much worse over WiFi.
I tried to factory reset the soundbar, which makes eARC work but the TV doesn't know there is a soundbar and sounds are duplicated / lagged.
I tried Q Symphony over WiFi and it drops the sound every few minutes, which is annoying.
I can use the soundbar on Bluetooth mode and it sounds pretty good, but it's not using the tv speakers and I'm missing out on the quality I could get via eARC.
Both the TV and the soundbar are on the latest firmware.
On the TV, there is no Q Sympohone (HDMI eARC) setting. Only (WiFi) shows up.
With over $2k invested in this equipment I expect it to work correctly out of the box. Instead I've been fighting with it for days and it just will not work.
Any ideas?

Have you tried the 'ID Set' option? I think this makes the soundbar compatible with other Samsung products. Just press up on the D-ring of the soundbar remote until 'ID Set' appears in its display. See if that helps.
