Hi just wondering if anyone can help my curved soundbar has stopped working all together. I’m sure a thing flashed up about some update or something but I’m not sure.
The model number is HW-MS6501/XU. Thanks

hello everyone out there, I have the same problem with the same soundbar any help would be greatly appreciated. I live on an island and it’s difficult to get to services so we learn how to be self sufficient, anyone that knows of a fix or where to look you would be making a very old man very happy

Hello! First thing to do would be to check there is power going to the soundbar. If not, check the fuse and try another cable with the power supply.
If you can turn it on, but there is no audio output, do try different sources to see if this makes a difference. If it does, and it's only audio from the TV that isn't working, try another HDMI cable to rule this out as the cause.

Many thanks for your kind reply, the unit was playing all good it then started showing “update “ it was switched off and when I tried to turn it on again it has not worked since. First thing I tried was to put metre on and check power supply which was good, checked power output to tv showing 240 volts, I’ve also tried everything advised on the internet unfortunately the soundbar remains dead. I’m now thinking that the way forward might be to speak to someone who has experience of repairing these devices. Haven’t been able to get anyone on Samsung website, except that I see that you can buy quite a large selection of chips, I’ll try again, I really want this device to work again, any help or advice greatly appreciated
