my TV (Model: UE55MU6449) shows an incorrect behavior when powering on the device following this scenario:
1. On the TV Select a Pay-TV/HD+ Channel
2. Power-Off the TV
3. Wait a longer period of time (e.g. over night)
4. Power-On the TV
5. After successful authentication the keypad on the TV is always shown.
The keypad is shown only in context with a selected Pay-TV channel. The same scenario with a non Pay-TV channel doesn't show the keypad .
@Samsung: Why exists this inconsistent behavior?
@Community: Are other TV models also affected?
Try a reset of the TV. Go to Home > Settings > Support > Self Diagnosis > Reset. You'll be asked to enter a 4 digit PIN code which is usualy 0000 and the TV will then go through the initial set up proceedure. Let us know how you get on.
thanks for your reply. Reseting the TV as described and also updating to the latest SW (from last week) didn't solve the issue.
The behavior is still unchanged: after PowerOn followed by the successful authetication of the CI+ Modul
the Keypad will be shown.
@Samsung: This looks like a software defect.
