Watch4 steps auto on

Hi 

I have had my watch4 from first time it came onto market it has always auto come counting my steps when out walking etc just recently it's stopped auto detection my fitness activity 

Every thing on the watch is turned on to allow this to happen 

Anyone with ideas as to why this happening and a fix would be good

Have you giving the watch a reboot recently. Holding both side buttons in together until the watch turns off itself. Sometimes just a reboot can help with issues. You can also wipe cache partition. https://youtu.be/n7cNwgd8GIQ

Hi thanks for reply I have rebooted it a few times over the last few weeks, will try to wipe cache partition

You could always clear cache for health app and wear app. If neither of those fix. Back up all your data for watch, and reset.
