Having hiked for 12 miles yesterday in the Brecon Becons National Park in Wales. My step count was 31k and the Hiking Tracker registered 23k, with only a couple of hundred steps around the house and certainly not 8k of steps.
In the morning my AGEs score registered the following for this days activity (yesterday )
Overall 62 down 15
Sleep time: Good
Sleep time consistency excellent
Bed wake time excellent
Sleep timing excellent
Previous day activity Attention

Opening the app up on the phone.
Energy score factors.
Active time 300 mins
Moderate to vigorous time 249 mins
Average HR 116 BPM
The day before I walked a gentle 3 to four mile walk and my score was up 15 points.
My question is why is this app so poor compared to everything else that Samsung does, and is pretty much useless and they use it as a marketing tool.
Additionally, the auto pause when you are climbing over a gate caused a delay in restarting the step count, one of the reasons for the difference in step counts.
