Terrible sleep tracking

Sleep tracking is all around terrible. It usually detects that I sleep 3-4 hours a night with massive gaps in the middle. It also usually starts 1-2 hours after I have actually fallen asleep. It has also worked flawlessly for a few days recently after which it has broken again. Are there any fixes?

I put my watch into sleep mode (through modes and routines) when I'm going to sleep. Make sure your watch is on your wrist snuggly not too tight .

I put my watch into sleep mode as well. Watch is on snuggly. Can move it up and down the wrist a bit if needed but doesn't move on it's own.

For 3/4 days, recently it tracked my sleep perfectly and now it's gone back to incorrect tracking.

Have you checked the Samsung health app and see it all looks okay? Rebooted both watch and phone ?

Apparently you also need to open Samsung health now and then for some of the stuff to work properly.
