I just got the new Samsung Galaxy 4 Classic. I have had it a little over a week now. My issue is it is putting a burn mark on my wrist where the sensor touches. I have my watch monitor all day to monitor my activity, heart rate, stress etc...
After a few days, my wrist started burning. (Please see the attached photos) I took the watch off for a few days and put on some coconut oil, and Epsom salt and it started to heal. What's left is a perfect circle that matches the very inner circle of the sensor.
This is very concerning to me as I wear normal watches every day and this does not happen. This seems like a laser issue with monitoring.
After two days of not wearing the watch and putting on treatment

I also have the 4 watch today it over heated and burned my arm. I called and they acted like this was not a issue. I also dropped my cell phone and broke it in witch I was told that wasn't there issue. I think at this point after not 1 but 2 of yout watches burning me in a 3 week period it's time to contact a lawyer

Absolutely. I contacted a lawyer and she said that its disturbing that devices are causing harm and burn marks. She said she will definitely look further into it and let me know. She advise me to send a email to the local news with pictures explaining my situation and give them permission to share my story. Im also letting this be know to other customers. We all need to do this. I contacted Samsung and they said we take this seriously and want me to put a ticket to have it replaced or repaired. Haha been there dont that. So going other routes. I was told its a software issue with LTE so wheres the update to fix it? Until then imma do what i gotta do.

I have the same issue. Had a fairly large mark that i thought was just a skin irritation from trapped sweat or something (although I wipe my watch every 6 hours or so), the mark took a week to clear up and was very itchy during. After wearing the watch for 24 hours I notice it is beginning to irritate the skin around it

I have the same thing, quite a burn and lump on my wrist. What testing I wonder has been done into the affects of long term low level laser skin exposure.

Hello,
I've traded in my galaxy watch 3 that I had for 2 years, only taking it off to charge or clean it. Never had a problem. I purchased the galaxy watch 4 classic late September. Same as the galaxy watch 3 only taking it off to charge. But now I have this burn spot on my wrist. I just noticed it the other day and now today I've seen that it has gotten worse. I'm curious if this infrared light is harmful to us users. My galaxy watch 3 never bothered me. Here is a attached picture of my burn mark.

I just got the Galaxy Watch 4 and have a red circle the size of the watch and also some red lines where the band is. This appeared after wearing the watch for 2 days.
