Samsung Pay does not sync with phone cards

Why is it that despite having a Samsung zfold 4 and a samsung watch 4, the samsung pay apps are different on the devices? On my phone app, i have multiple cards loaded for over 2 years, but when i go to the Samsung Pay app pn my watch, it redirects to the phone and asks me to add cards. 

Why is Samsung so out of sync? Surely it should take the card details already stored on my phone? 

The same issue exists for Google Wallet. The watch and phone do not syn, you have to add them once for the phone, and once for the watch. How silly?

Or have i missed something?

Presumably because your financial institution needs to know it's two separate devices?

You need to import cards onto watch. Think of it as two separate apps not one app that links to phone.

So it should ask to import card and then it imports it from phone app.
