I've just got a pair of galaxy buds+ and connected them to my galaxy a40 they show up on smart things and not wearables how do I fix this

sometimes it doesn't auto connect but you can force connect by touching the touch pad on one or both ear buds for a few seconds then they should go into find mode then re scan on the app.
