Issue trying to update Apps

Watch 6 classic LTE UK

When i try to see if anyone Apps need updating on my watch, I get a pop saying my Galaxy store needs updating. Unfortunately this pop up only stays there for a second not allowing me to update the Galaxy store. 
I have tried everything I can think of to solve this issue. Including sending feedback to Samsung via the members area. I've just sent this report so I don't expect anything for a day or two. 
The question are, is this just happening to me?
Has anyone found a solution or workaround?

Have you checked on your phone for available updates from the Galaxy store and Google play services
Also after that check for available watch updates on the wearable app
