Release date for watch 6 classic confusion

Hi guys,

I've just ordered a Galaxy Watch 6 Classic 47mm silver edition from Vodafone UK and they have confirmed to me that the delivery date for my watch will be on 4/8/23. (This date is also shown on their website)

I thought the release date for the watch was supposed to be 11/8/23.

Can anyone please confirm the date?

I've ordered mine through Samsung UK & my delivery date is 04AUG2023

I got mine via Samsung and the delivery date is also the 4th.

Customers who pre-order the Galaxy Watch6 before the 31st July will receive the device early on the 4th August, a week prior to it's official release date of the 11th August. Apologies for any confusion surrounding this matter.

Hi all, same here I bit the bullet & decided to treat myself, pre-orders always arrive before the release date, hope you all enjoy your new watches when they arrive.

Yes I got date of 4th August but at checkout DPD couriers first available date was 7th August.

Well, I've just been told by Vodafone UK; who I ordered the galaxy watch 6 classic edition from, that they were lying to me about the delivery date of the watch. On 2 separate occasions Vodafone told me the delivery date would be the 4/8, their own website confirmed the date as the 4/8. I went on their site this morning to check and it said 'order before 10pm today and get it delivered tomorrow' the 4/8. I am now being told by Vodafone that in fact the delivery date for the classic edition is the 11/8, and to top it all off, if you now try and order the classic edition of the galaxy watch 6 on their website, it throws up an error saying 'sorry, there's a problem with our site' in absolutely fuming. I hope all you that ordered direct from Samsung, get their watches tomorrow.

Iv just ordered the watch 6 classic via Samsung's website. been told delivery is after the 18th yesterday it was the 11th. I'm a bit confused. Does samsung only deliver on Fridays ?
