My wife's Active 2 watch does not show all notifications. SMS and calendar notifications are received but messages received via WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger are not. I have allowed all permissions "Apps from which you can receive notifications". The phone is a Samsung S6 with Android 7. There may be restrictions because of the phone and OS age.
I have already tried a number of things such as reinstalling the Gear app and Active 2 plugin. I have also already reset the watch. Unfortunately, still no WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger notifications.
Does anyone have experience with this phone / Android 7 / watch combination?
What can I do to fix this problem?
