Hi everyone, it's @lminvti here back with more sample testing.
Now im testing galaxy watch ultra and galaxy ring.
So far im impressed by galaxy rings battery life and acurate measuring compared to galaxy watch ultra.
Both are rechargeable with USB C charger
Galaxy watch ultra has a magnetic charger and
Galaxy ring on the other hand had a case you charge and ring itself charging in the case only, really great thing to have just in case you running out of battery you can take out the case and charger it anywhere.
Galaxy ring measure my sleep patterns, exercising, etc more accurately, but for me the the problem is that there's no screen.Whenever I need to check my notifications or quickly reply I deeply rely on my watch ultra when im wearing galaxy ring i need to take out my phone. That being said I don't think galaxy ring is a bad alternative. Not at all. But For me screen and quick replies means a lot and im not much of a gym guy (but I do go gym every other day) but so far i got 7 days battery life from ring while watch ultra is 2.1 days long (no GPS and data on watch) and a bit more acurate fitness tracking records from the ring.
I tried watch ultra before and i said i didn't liked it just because of bulkines of it but i got used to it and now testing it for for longer it looks great as i no longer notice the bulkines of the watch, the white colour looks really beautiful and I believe i needed more time to spent with the watch ultra, and the galaxy ring (as its my first time I'm testing galaxy ring) this is my first thoughts and so far my opinion is:
Watch ultra :
- Looks great as I'm finally got used to the "bulkines" of the watch
- Great measurements (compered to my watch 7 44mm) way more acurate
- no more "no wrist detected" notifications.
- has a really great and bright screen
- more durable than watch 7
Galaxy ring :
- bit more acurate readings than the watch
- bit loose
- if you have to pick (gray is the best colour)
- ring kit might be needed as my ring size is 13 but 13 was bit loose but it works on some of my fingers.
- lack of NFC
- great alternative for athletes or people who's in fitness who's don't want to wear a watch or for people who just want acurate sleep, fitness, health tracking.
- really good built quality
- price point is a bit too much as if you want something who will get your notifications and quick replies better off with watch
- has a charging case with internal battery
This is my initial and first thoughts on galaxy ring and watch ultra. Stay tuned for more.
