Buds3 my experience and thoughts

So I received my Galaxy buds3 along with my S25 Ultra on the 1 February. My initial thoughts were, the fit was terrible, always fall out, sound quality was decent but not the best Galaxy buds I've had. But one issue was (yes I know you shouldn't do this) at maximum volume, they distorted terribly, none of my older buds ever sound this bad, furthermore, bass was extremely weak in comparison to my older buds too.

So about 3 weeks in, the volume in the left bud suddenly started dropping to the point where even at maximum volume, it was barely audible. So great I figured, icing on top. I immediately requested a repair that same day and the buds were returned back to me within a week (not too bad turnaround). After checking the serial numbers, I know both the buds were replaced (my case is the same).

So back to testing them, I wasn't really expecting too much promise. How wrong I was, they were immensely better, crisp even at maximum volume, no distortion (or very little) and actual bass!

If you've read this long, I congratulate and appreciate your patience 😊. Long story short, if you are noticing inferior quality with your buds3 compared to prior Galaxy buds, I would suggest having them checked or replaced. The quality is a lot better with my replacements and if you hadn't any experience with another pair before, you probably would never know. I'm actually grateful now mine were defective, or I never would've known they were much better than my initial thoughts (fit still terrible 😔). Thanks for reading.

Very glad you got it sorted! I saw some comments on their dislike of the audio and was half confused as I agree—when they do work, they work really well!

The fit is definitely user-dependent; my girlfriend absolutely loves them, whereas it feels like I'm walking on ice with mine- turning them more lateral does help

@Joeeye  Happy to hear that there was a significant difference after repair, obviously there was an issue.  The fit on the Buds 3  in particular though  can to be problematic, I was always more interested in the Galaxy Bud 3 Pro.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Yeah the tip to turn them vertically upwards helps a lot actually.

Hey! As a previous user of the Galaxy Buds3 I highly recommend the buds3 pros they overall better then the buds3 and have MUCH better overall stability in volume.

I use them and think they're good. At times, I have to push down on them to get better bass and volume as they do ever so slightly move out of place. Especially when swigging a mouthful of Guinness. I do dance around at times, which doesn't help. But they've never fallen out like many others seem to have. I've just seen these on amazon. They look like winners for a perfect fit and sound. Few negative reviews, but I always go with the positive ones. 1740758704788.jpg
