So I pre-ordered the samsung galaxy s22 ultra and got a set of buds pro as a add-on for "free" the buds fully work in EVERY SENSE except for the fact that the left ear bud doesnt respond to my touch control for some reason about 90% of the time.. its truly hit or miss and I have tried !!EVERYTHING!! Its extremely odd as I can touch and hold and nothing happens but every once in a great while it will work and when it does it will work several times in a row and then just stops again.. I am hoping that by posting this that someone will have had the same issue and will tell me a simple/silly solution and not just tell me its broken.. I waited a month to get them and really dont wanna have to send them back if I even can at this point PLEASE HELP and again, the edge gestures work and the ambient sound, noise cancelation, sound etc all work but tapping for volume or skip tracks or touch hold are where the problems lie.. anyone else having this issue or is it just me?!?!?!
@Christopheous: I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue with your Galaxy Buds Pro. When you place the left earbud in your ear, do you hear a noise to indicate that the Bud has been detected? If the touch-sensitive sensor does not make contact with your ear, of if they are not positioned correctly in your ear, the earbud may not work. With this in mind, try using a different sized eartip to see if you notice an improvement.
Although I understand that the issue with the touch controls is intermittent, please try heading to the Galaxy Wearable app and making sure that 'Block Touches' is not activated. To understand the touch features of the Buds, including how to customise the Touch and Hold feature for each Bud, please refer to pages 24-26 of the user manual via the link below.
I have the same problem with Galaxy Bud Pro, i bought with Samsung set promotion and i start using 3 weeks back. Left ear bud doesn’t respond to my touch control, doesn’t allow active voice cancellation, discounting from blue tooth.
I believe this is technical fault from Samsung end. Is there anyone who can help or resolve this issue.
