Hello. I have purchased brand new Galaxy Fit 3 and noticed that when I turn on the flight mode my Galaxy S22 still avalible to connect to the Fit 3. So, I see fit 3 in the list of bluetooth connection and can connect to. Seems flight mode just disconnects fit 3 and mobile phone but doesn't turn off bluetooth at all. I supposed that all wireless protocols (wifi, bluetooth) must be turned off. I know that there is no wifi in fit3 but bluetooth only. So I am confused , what flight mode for in that case...

Thanks:)
Fit 3 doesn't allow turning BT on/off manually, there is no such function in menu, so flight mode looks useless and fake here. I work in a lab and need clear conditions with reduced rays...

Tried this. While my galaxy Fit 3 was connected to galaxy S22, I turned flight mode on the S22 phone, then turned on flight mode on Fit3. Flight mode Icons were shown on both devices. But when I turned on BT on S22 phone the Fit 3 immediately shown BT icon. Seems there is a bug - Fit 3 always checks connection, so flight mode doesn't really works.
BTW on my galaxy watch 5 pro the same case works perfect - flight mode really switches BT off

This is definitely a bug, but I believe only if you are connecting to a Samsung phone. My wife and I both have the same fit3 watches (brought within days of each other), but she has a Nokia XR20 and I have a Galaxy Z Flip 6. She doesn't have this problem and I do.
I've discovered a workaround which is to turn off the nearby devices permission for the Galaxy Wearable app on your galaxy phone and then the bluetooth icon disappears on the watch.
However, although the icon has disappeared, when I turn the permission back on, it instantly connects, which tells me that there's still Bluetooth connectivity going on, so not a full workaround.
My beef with this is that I don't want electromagnetic transmissions going through my wrist 24x7, I just want to sync once a day.
Come on Samsung, this can't be difficult surely?

I also work in a lab, and the Galaxy Fit 3 forces my phone (S23 Ultra) to activate GPS and WiFi.
WiFi is forced to run in the background even if you disable it in the settings. The app requires you to "improve location accuracy" if you want to proceed. But if you don’t allow WiFi and GPS, the app completely rejects the Bluetooth connection and refuses to connect to the smartwatch.
It’s so frustrating!
It even says, "If you want to improve location, you can turn it on."
No, I don’t want to!
