How do I get the map to sync from gear s2 to s8 samsung health app?

Previous to the last update of the Samsung health app, my gear s2 would sync the map of where I'd walked to my samsung health app. So I could see exactly where I'd been. 

Once I've "finished" the relevant workout I.e walking, running it will show me a small map on the s2 watch but it won't show on the health app on my phone. 

Any suggestions on how to get it to show up again?

I have the exact same question.  The watch tracked my ride and created a map on my Galaxy Watch 4.  How do I export that map as a .gpx file or some other export?  It does not show up on the Samsung Health App.  Do I need to stop using Samsung app and find one that will allow access to my location data??
